One of the most legendary and decorated artist of all time, is guitarist and solo performer, Eric Clapton. He was awarded by the Rolling Stones Magazine as the 4th Greatest Guitarist of all time and he also belongs to the Immortals: 100 Greatest of All Time, on the number 53 spot. He was born as Ric Patrick Clapton on the town of Ripley at Surrey, England last March 30, 1945 making him 63 at this moment. Eric Clapton’s music specializes on hard rock, blues and blues rock. He plays the guitar very well and had been honored for that as a member of the bands The Yardbirds and Cream and of course as a solo performer. His hits includes “Layla”, “Change The World” and “Me and Mr. Johnson”.

Rise Against Updated Concerts Schedules

Rise Against released their latest single, “Re-Education (Through Labor)” on August 19, 2008, to iTunes and other digital music stores. Appeal to Reason was also released as a pre-order on iTunes and other digital music stores. Pre-orders on iTunes contain an immediate download of the new single as well as a live version of “The Prayer of the Refugee”, and the album will have the additional bonus track “Elective Amnesia”.

Appeal to Reason opened at #3 on the Billboard 200, making it Rise Against’s highest charting album.

Super Jam Band - Phish

Coined by the Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the most important bands of the 1990s, Phish had helped bring on a a new wave of bands that focus on group improvisation and super extended grooves. Phish is an American jam band formed  in Burlington, Vermont, USA. They had been famous for their musical improvisation, extended jam sessions and cult following. Phish disbanded on 2001 after 20 years of performing together. But the band promise their fans that they will reunite in 2009 for an extensive tour.

The Killers Concerts Schedules

The Killers is rock group created during the post punk revival movement in 2002. They came from Las Vegas, Nevada and consists of 4 original members up until now namely: Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. Their style was influenced by the 1980’s and 90’s song styles. The Killers already released 2 studio albums entitled Hot Fuss and Sam’s Town and is working on a new album “Day & Age” these days. The band had already sold more than 12 million copies of their first two albums and is coined a successful group by their label.

Eric Sardinas: Blues - Rock Guitarist On Tour

Eric Sardinas started playing the guitar at a very early age. He was imfluenced by blue rock artists such as Bukka White, Elmore James, Charlie Patton , Muddy Waters and Big Bill Broonzy. Eric was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1970. He is noted for his use of the electric resonator guitar, his powerful live performances and is known to set alight his guitar on stage. During shows in 2000 in Sydney, Sardinas suffered third degree burns to his left wrist.

He is on tour now to promote his latest CD “Eric Sardinas and Big Motor” on US and in Europe. The CD was supported by  Steve Vai’s Favored Nations record label in the U.S.

The Beach Boy’s Brian Wilson On Concert

Remember or even heard of the band The Beach Boys? Well, if you haven’t here is the chance to know more about the band’s lead song writer, bassist and singer, Brian Wilson. He was born in Hawthorne, California on June 20, 1942 making him 66 years old to date. But his age is not a hindrance for him to make appearances now for his fans. As a testimonial to that is the list of his concerts schedules below.

Brian Wilson’s life had been documented very well due to his  ability to make good and hit songs for the Beach Boys and also due to his widely known mental illness. But after years of therapy under the care of controversial therapist Eugene Landy, Wilson had brought back his life and his career on track. He launched a solo career on 1988 and though he hadn’t been part of the Beach Boys tours for  years he remained a part of their company.

Alternative Rock Icon - The Smashing Pumpkins Updated Concerts Schedules

American alternative rock band, The Smashing Pumpkins, was created in Chicago, Illinois in 1988. While the group has gone through several lineup changes, The Smashing Pumpkins consisted of Billy Corgan, James Iha, D’arcy Wretzky, and Jimmy Chamberlin for most of the band’s recording career. The Smashing Pumpkins is one of the most succeful alternative rock band of this era selling more than 18 million copies of their albums in the US alone. Their album entitled “Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness” reached the number one place in the Billboard charts. Despite of their success the band broke up on 2000 but decided to reunite last 2006.
