I survived Judas Priest

Judas Priest - metal band kings of rock!

The Oakland Coloseum in the 80’s was the place to see the big rock concerts that rolled into town.

One of them was Judas Priest and I was determined to get to the front. Stadium seating for the Judas PRiest concert almost killed me as in my eforts to get to the front row I had to endure extreme physical hardship.

Then once I got to the front the pressure from people pushing behind me was so intense I could barely prevent being squeezed up against the front barriers. I remember thinking my ribs were just going to shatter as there was no way to go anywhere. Once you were at the front you were doomed to be squeezed in among all the dudes.

It was so intense no ladies could survive it. A sea of macho teen dudes fighting to be up front so the Jadas Preist experience was dripping in our faces.

Well - somehow I survived. I remember walking away after the concert and feeling totally wiped out. Sweat was dripping from my soaked clothes. It was so intense my white tshirt was colored yellow.

At least it wasn’t red from blood! Long live Judas Priest! Breakin’ the Law!
