Did Jay-z and Beyonce Tied the Knot?

Beyonce Knowles and longtime boyfriend, Jay-Z took out a marriage license in Scarsdale Village, New York this week. The license is good for 60 days, but it didn’t take that long to be put to use.
Its been rumored that last Friday in New York, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z tied the knot in a small ceremony. PEOPLE reports that the Jayonce couple, who have been together since 2002, took their vows and then celebrated with a lavish party at Jay-Z’s Tribeca loft.
The magazine quoted the source saying, “It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair — close friends and family.”
Speculation started when large flower arrangements and a tent were delivered to Jay-Z’s Tribeca apartment building Friday afternoon. Also high-profile guests had also been arriving in New York incuding Destiny’s Child singers Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland were in a hotel and even shot a YouTube video to flaunt it. Celebrity reporter, PerezHilton actually provided the downtown address where the wedding was to take place.
Actually, Jay-Z had absolutely other reasons to celebrate with his impending $150 million deal with concert promoter Live Nation. There was speculation that the party at his loft was nothing more than a celebration of the blockbuster deal.
