He was honored by the Rolling Stone Magazine as the third greatest guitarist of all time. B.B. King made his reputation as one of the most respected and successful blues musician in the world. He is common name in the music industry for more than 50 years and a lot of music artist already honored him in their songs. He made more than 15,000 performances in his lifetime. B.B. King has been awarded a number of prestigious awards including: Kennedy Center Honors in 1995, National Heritage Fellowship in 1991, inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, National Medal of Arts in 1990 and many Grammy awards.
