One of the most succesful and most saleable music icon of all time is Elton JOhn also known as Sir Elton Hercules John. He has sold more than 250 million copies of his albums worldwide. He had belonged to the The Immortals: 100 Greatest Artist of all Time by the Rolling Stones Magazine on 2004. Elton John also won numerous Grammy and Academy Awards. Elton John had been inducted in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 1994. He is also a great philantrophist having battled the cause of AIDS victims since the 80s and then was knighted on 1998.
