John Clayton Mayer is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter. John Mayer was born at Bridgeport, Connecticut,USA on October 16, 1977. His song genres includes blues-rock, pop rock, soul rock and blue-eyed soul. Mayer attended Berklee College of music and then moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in 1998, where he refined his skills and gained fans. His first two studio albums, Room for Squares and Heavier Things were both successful achieving multi-platinum status. John Mayer won a Best Male Pop Vocal Performance Grammy for “Your Body Is a Wonderland, ” in 2003.
