Madonna Louise Ciccone Ritchie popularly known as Madonna is an American singer-songwriter, dancer, musician, record producer, and actress. She was born August 16, 1958 in Bay City, Michigan, United States. She is regarded as “one of the greatest pop acts of all time” and she has been coined as the “Queen of Pop” by the media. Madonna aspired to become a ballet dancer and studied dance under the tutelage of choreographer Alvin Ailey on her teenage years.
