Robyn Rihanna Fenty (better known as simply “Rihanna”), the 19 year old singing sensation from Barbados, exploded onto the R&B and pop charts in 2005 with her debut album Music of the Sun, and she hasn’t slowed down since. Now she’s on tour in support of her latest album, 2007’s Girl Gone Bad.

She is the first Barbadian artist to officially win a Grammy Award. Rihanna is currently signed to the Def Jam Recordings label. She has attained five Billboard Hot 100 number ones thus far (”Umbrella”, “SOS”, “Take a Bow”,”Disturbia” and Live Your Life), four as a solo artist and one as featured artist, and is currently tied with Beyonce as the female solo artist with the most number ones in this decade.

She started her career on 2005 and now she is on the verge of reaching the peak of her singing career. With the success of her hit single “Umbrella” feat. Jay-z from her third album “Good Girl Gone Bad” which garnered her a lot of awards, Rihanna had really made her reputation in the music industry. She also popularized the songs “Unfaithful”, “Pon De Replay”, “SOS”, and “We Ride”, which are all number one when released.
