Derek Trucks Band is named after the famed guitarist Derek Trucks who has been instrumental in bringing these motley lot talented musicians together and creating musical magic. The eccentric fusion music characterized by raw acoustics is a sound that now passionately defines the DTB. The band’s stated mission over the years has been to assemble a very talented group of musicians who amongst themselves share a passion for experimentation, improvisation and musical exploration.
Through the years they have tried to develop a very refined united musical vision. This has been made possible by performing only with this core group of musicians for an extensive period of time.
