Carter III is a very succesful album reaching a million sales on its first week and a month after its release it was certified 2 times platinum. The track Lollipop, reached the number one rank and stayed there for weeks. Lil Wayne was born as Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. at New Orleans Louisina and his been active on the music since 1999 when he was only 16 years old. He had already release 7 albums since then. Lil Wayne is one of the most succeful rapper artist today.
